Hi All , I am sharing this recipe as there would be many like me who are tired of cooking daily routine recipes and is also tired of eating dal,roti and sabzi. I made Veg Tacos with some of ready to eat ingredients and some cooked at home. This recipe is very simple and can be cooked by any.When you can get taste like outside food by using some already available products in market , then why to spend energy and time every time making it from scratch. Sometimes we should enjoy easy and quick recipes too.
Ingredients :
- 6 Taco shells , i used Santa maria Tacos , buy any which are available in market.
- Taco shells sauce , i used Santa maria Tacos sauce , buy any which is available in market. if you willing to make it at home, leave a comment to me for recipe.
- Capsicum -2
- Onion – 2
- Tomato – 2 medium size
- Chana Masala or chat Masala – Optional
- Salt as per taste
- Lemon – 1/2
- Lettuce – 3 leaves
- Sour Cream – 6 Table spoon
- Grated Cheese – Optional , I did not add as it was not available at home
- Black beans or red kidney beans – 400 gram approx
Recipe
- Soak the black beans or red kidney beans overnight
- Boil the black beans with salt in the morning.
- Chop the onion and capsicum.
- Remove the seeds from tomato and chop it.
- Now Heat the Oil and fry half of the the onion capsicum and tomato together.
- Add the rinsed boiled black beans and salt.
- Heat it for 5 mins
- Stuffing is ready. Keep it aside.
- Mix remaining onion , capsicum and tomato together and add lemon and chana masala or chat masala in it and mix it.Keep it aside.
- Finely chop the lettuce and keep it aside.
- Now heat the Tacos shell in oven for 15 minutes at 125 degree C.
- Once Tacos are heated , Fill it with lettuce first , then add beans stuffing , add 1 spoon taco sauce , add 1 spoon sour cream and then add mixture of chopped onion , capsicum and tomato. You can add some lettuce on top of it. Add grated cheese.
- Repeat step 13 to fill more tacos
- Enjoy it with Juice or any other drink
