Bal Samannd lake place in Jodhpur is a must visit property. It is located away from the hustle bustle of the city life. It is used to be a Summer Monsoon Retreat for the Royal Family. We stayed there one day and let me tell you we enjoyed every single minute in this property. The property is so beautiful and peaceful. Old charm of the property is well maintained. It’s 5 km far from the main city. We checked – in by 4 O clock after exploring the jodhpur. Hotel staff welcomed us with welcome drink and some Indian snacks like mathri and namakpare.We enjoyed snacks as we were so hungry.

We headed towards our room.

The architecture of our room took us to the British era. It’s was so unique and beautiful.

We went to their in-door restaurant for lunch which has nice interior and well behaved staff.We ordered Thai Curry with Rice. It was delicious.

We relaxed for some time and We enjoyed Dinner in their outdoor restaurant.It was my husband’s birthday. We had really good time on candle light dinner with live music.

We woke up in the morning with the sound of birds and peacock views. Chriping

It was bright and sunny day. We enjoyed nature walk and moved towards the lake , on the half way we got property jeep which dropped us to the lake. The lake is very beautiful. It was built in the 12th century.

We came back and had buffet breakfast in indoor restaurant. Variety of dishes were there like south Indian food , veg oats , poha , aaloo poori sandwiches along with chocolate shake , cold coffee , tea , coffee , juice many more.

We clicked some pictures outside of the restaurant and and go back to the room to get ready.

Once get ready we just check-out and explored the remaining parts of the property. On reception we asked for walk-through of property. They provided a jeep along with driver.

There is a peacock fountain in this property which was very beautiful.

The pool was so nice. We could not use it due to time crunch. But enjoyed some time there.

We also did cycling near the pool. It took me back in my childhood days.

The property is well maintained and has lush green parks. We clicked so many pictures.

This property also have the horses. The stables are well maintained and horses are well taken care by care takers. My daughter enjoyed a lot while feeding horses.

Nature trail walk was free provided by the hotel. They also provided a jeep and driver who gave the walk through of this property. He told us about the history of this place. He also shown us the hotel rooms near lake.

Peacocks , langurs, monkeys and parrots were roaming around. It was the great view for our 15 months old daughter. She enjoyed a lot.

This property also has a shiv temple near the entrance.

Serene ,calm environment , Peacock views , chirping of birds , lush green gardens and different animals made our stay memorable. It was perfect break from the daily routine.
